The two chestnuts pulled it out the bag and made the 2.50 AM start well worth it-Shannondale Sparky in the Novice and Creeslough in the Intermediate
Sparky was a little tight in his test but the movements set were not the most flowing and meant you were always on a turn and he could not show off his pointy toes! But he still scored a 33.5, followed by a great double clear inside the time XC. Making nothing of the course or the ground he finished on 33.5 for 6th place.
Creeslough did a good test to score 31.8 and he too jumped a great double clear adding just a few time faults and finished 2nd his Intermediate class, pushing him now into advanced points!
It was a lovely day with the owner of Shannondale Sparky; Louise Weir spending the day with us. Although rather hot at times it was a great day in the sunshine!
