Stallions at stud
Chanuck Z:
Stallion at stud
-
Date of birth: 2018
-
Height: 16hh
-
Stable name: Tommy
-
Sire: Chardonnay Z
-
Owner: Miss Ginny Howe
Small and compact in size, yet full of quality and scope. He has a wonderful temperament, with huge movement on the flat and the same extravagant ability over a fence.
Competitive for both in British Showjumping, currently at Newcomers and will look to step up to Foxhunter soon.
2025 saw him eventing at BE100, with many wins and impressive dressage scores. He stepped up to Novice and will continue to consolidate at this level with the view of competing at international 2* level later in the season.
He has huge scope and ability in dressage; a total show off, with the real ‘look at me’ presence. Where show jumping and eventing are concerned, he loves to jump and is quick, while remaining careful to his fences.
He has excellent conformation, making him ideal for any type of mare. With many offspring already on the ground, he is consistently passing on his good looks, movement and attitude.
He is well suited to breeding to a smaller mare but works equally well with a bigger mare, having shown that he passes on plenty of range. Please contact Ginny if you would like to find out more about Chanuck Z.
Interlaken W:
Stallion at Stud
-
Date of birth: 2013
-
Height: 16.2hh
-
Stable name: Lanikin
-
Sire: Sam R
-
Owner: Miss Ginny Howe
Interlaken W has an exceptional temperament, which is consistently passed on to his offspring. Of a particular quality, he is ideally suited to a TB mare, with many successful offspring already on the ground from similar combinations. He is also well-suited to hotter or sharper mares, as his outstanding attitude and temperament are reliably passed on.
He has show jumped up to 1.30m in British Show Jumping classes and has competed up to Intermediate level in British Eventing. He has a trainable, easy attitude on the flat, with natural balance and good movement. In the show jumping arena, no fence is too big; he has endless scope and a good technique. With a good percentage of Thoroughbred blood in his pedigree, he is quick across the ground.
More recently, he has been team chasing and hunting with several different packs. An ideal choice for anyone wishing to breed a genuine, easy all-rounder with movement, plenty of scope, and fantastic conformation.
Please contact Ginny if you would like to find out more about Interlaken W.

Her experience at the highest level of the sport, including accompanying a regular pupil as a Coach to the CAC Games in Barbados, underpins a coaching approach that is both aspirational and grounded in proven performance.
Specialising across all three phases of eventing, Ginny’s coaching is focused on building strong foundations, confidence and long term success:
Dressage: Emphasis on accuracy, suppleness and improving the horse’s way of going, developing correct engagement and harmony.
Show Jumping: Building confidence, consistency and an understanding of distances, helping riders trust the process and enhancing results in the arena.
Cross Country: Prioritising safety, rhythm and accuracy, while equipping riders with the tools and confidence needed to ride positively and effectively on course.
