10th INDIAN PRINCE 2nd ECHO P
A lovely first time visit to Whitfield. A local event to me and was great to have 2 running in the BE100. New ride Indian Prince had a great first run, he did a very nice test with just a few mistakes for 32. He then jumped a perfect double clear but annoyingly i went a bit quick, for 2 time faults for going too fast to put us into 10th
The lovely Echo P got a last minute entry following all the cancellations, he kept his consistent form with a lovely 30 dressage and a double clear to finish 2nd a in a competitive section.
Withington
3 intermediates with Foxy Lady, Undalgo De Windsor and About time Too.
A big bold track with plenty of questions and the horses answered all the questions! A lovely test for About time Too scoring 31, he then went on to jump a fantastic clear SJ, even over the water trays and then stormed round the XC like a BE100.
Foxy Lady was very pleased to be out, scoring a 35 and jumping a great SJ round just adding an unlucky 4 faults. XC she was bold and brave, a fantastic clear in horizontal rain. These two very much ready for Houghton and had a fantastic run.
Undalgo De WIndsor did a lovely calm test, one of his best but the judge just wanting more expression. He show jumped well with 2 unlucky poles, again plenty to look at and take in. XC he was brilliant, he made the combinations feel easy and remained very genuine. With a new bit it was even better and he was very rideable. Really excited about his next few events!
