About Time Too V is still very green at this level and very much had a crash course into his eventing career this season having done very little other than show jumping. He's been thrown in at the deep end and taking everything on and loving it! He still not established in certain movements making some costly mistakes but scoring a respectable 56 in only his 2nd long arena test.
He went on to show jump very well, but being such a big jumper and the ground being a little holding he just got stuck a little at one upright in particular to have it down, which was a real shame. Never the less made nothing of the XC and stormed round. Despite not knowing how he would handle the hills, he took on every question asked and is very very exciting for next season!
Foxy Lady V, pointed her toes in her test. Almost error free and scoring a 52 which we felt slightly harshly marked but ever improving and still being not established at this level. She show jumped just brilliantly and tried her hardest, making nothing of the mud she jumped a perfect clear! XC she gave a fantastic ride, and felt like a real pro, she was bold brave and accurate and came home clear. Very excited to how she will come out next season, with exciting things planned!
Both horses gained towards their qualification, so will deserve a well earned holiday!
Undalgo De Windsor went for an outing in the Novice with the big ponies! He did a 30 dressage and is becoming so rideable on the flat producing some really lovely work. He jumped well enough in the atmospheric main area but had an annoying 2 poles. There was alot for him to take in, still being a fairly low mileage for a 7yo. He zoomed round the XC giving a great ride to make up for the poles.
