We had a fab time at Aston le Walls International, competing in the 3*S with 7-year-old CHF Captain Jacob. He really consolidated his intermediate and 3*S form ahead of his big goal of Hartpury 3*L in August.
The dressage was slightly disappointing, but I know exactly where there is improvement to be made and how to stop the silly mistakes creeping in. His jumping was brilliant – a very easy double clear, picking up just time faults. It was an educational run for him and full of confidence ahead of the big goal that’s fast approaching.
In between this 3*S run at Aston le Walls and his first 3*S at Osberton at the beginning of May, Arlo has been placed in Intermediate classes at Aston le Walls (6th), Little Downham (4th) and Catton Park (2nd). He’s feeling on great form and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store. Huge thank you to his owner for all her support and being part of this amazing journey
