- Foxy Lady - 6th - About Time Too - 11th
A long trip back up to Norfolk this time with the novice horses and two in the Novice Regional Final.
Foxy Lady a new ride belonging to Ginny's sister Rachael Sheppard, has had time out from competing at novice but certainly made a good come back to the level with exciting things planned for her this season. She did a lovely text and a perfect double clear to finish 6th in her section.
About Time Too, is loving his eventing career but unfortunately didn't do his best test scoring 35, then jumped a great double clear to finish 11th.
CVS Indian Summer was making her debut in the NRF class, she did a really great test, scoring 32 in her first intermediate test, then show jumped very well just loosing concentration once as a horse galloped by on the XC, having an unlucky rail. She then flew round the XC picking up just a few time faults in this very competitive NRF section. Knights Escapade also in the NRF did a nice test, despite pulling a shoe in the dressage scoring 35, in his first intermediate dressage. He then show jumped well, just touching one pole which was a shame. He was then flying XC and loving it, but possibly not fully concentrating and finding things a little to easy and as a result made a silly mistake at fence 6, resulting in both horse and rider hitting the floor. Both were fine and put the silly error behind them.
-Danetime Panther- 2nd
-Cruise on Inny- WINNER
The babies were on fantastic form and tried their hardest, Cruise on Inny has kept up his fantastic form scoring his personal best dressage score of 18!! Lots of 9s! He did the most beautiful test and then went on to jump a foot perfect double clear round the BE100, despite the jockey not feeling on top form as a result of the fall the day before (photo attached)
Danetime Panther also feeling brilliant and scored his personal best dressage of 26! He too went on to jump a great double clear, making the transition from racing to eventing a fairly easy one! He finished 2nd in his section!
Very excited about the future with these two horses as a result of their performances here, they just keep improving.
