What an epic yet exhausting bank holiday weekend! 90 to Advanced level, 6 horses at 2 great venues!
Friday began with Confession Time in his 2nd intermediate at Cirencester Park.
A rather jolly dressage but 2 amazing jumping rounds. A lovely clear SJ and a speedy clear XC adding just a few time. He is a big horse and still only 7yo but really showed his boldness an class at this level.
CHF Archie on top form too, couldn't wait to get on with the jumping. An unintentional flying change in his dressage but some lovely bits. Pinged his way round the SJ for another clear to add to his record, followed by a great XC, which showed he is ready to step up to advanced at Aston next week.
Saturday with the Advanced big boys!
Trendy Captain Clover did the most lovely dressage, perfect changes and his half passes were on point, which the judges appreciated scoring him on 32. Only little and not a big flashy warmblood but time and time again he comes out and tries his hardest, it was lovely to be rewarded for this. Making nothing of the SJ for a clear and went like a rocket XC to come home with just a few time faults to finish 6th!!
Undalgo De Windsor, kept up the good form.He did a really nice chilled test but lost marks for his pirouettes + right change but worked well with me. He jumped a brilliant clear in the SJ despite the distractions of the XC running next door. Always keen to get going on the XC he flew round and jumped a lovely clear!
Sunday with Interlaken W - a fun novice run before his intermediate at Aston. The most lovely dressage, even with a costly mistake scored 29. Pressure on to keep my double clear role in tact and he did not dissapoint! A foot perfect clear SJ and a bold clear XC!
4th consecutive day out competing and on to Swalcliffe. My wonderful homebred by Kannan Cavorting Kandy taking on her 2nd ever event. She took it all in her stride for 31 dressage with a few mistakes but jumped a lovely double clear to finish 6th!
Thank you so much everyone for all your help this weekend, I really could not do it with out every single one of you! The horses are all feeling and looking on top form and it takes a huge team effort to ensure that! Thank You!
