On Sunday, Ginny and the team made the four hour drive to Burnham Market in Norfolk with Eires Rock and Belle III.
In the Intermediate Eires Rock behaved beautifully doing a lovely test which Ginny felt was very hardly marked with a score of 33. He followed this with a double clear with 9 time faults to finish in a very respectable fourth behind Francis Whittington, Ollie Townend and JP Sheffield, so already in very good company.
In the Novice, Belle III did a slightly tense test and made a few mistakes earning a fair mark of 40. Ginny has recently upgraded her to Novice and was pleased with her in the Showjumping as she jumped well and listened to Ginny rather than taking charge. Although she has three fences down there are plenty of clears to come and Ginny was very pleased with her. Belle’s cross country was brilliant and she completed an accurate round with precision at the skinnys and bold into the strong waters.
Next stop for Ginny is BCA on 27 and 28 September.
