An exciting Aston le walls trip, began with Corinthian Clover feeling on top form producing a nice dressage test of 28.8 then jumping a perfect double clear, adding just a couple of time faults to finish 5th in his Novice section.
Next Day thankfully the rain was left behind for About time Too and CVS Indian Summer to contest their first Intermediate. Both horses have been going well all season so they were ready to make the step up.
About Time Too V, produced a rather lively dressage test for 37 - clearly excited about the bigger jumps! He then went on to make up for the errors in his dressage by jumping a great double clear. Proving ultra careful yet bold at the same time.
CVS Indian Summer did a very smart test for 32, she had 2 unlucky poles in the SJ but by this point the surface had got quite deep so she was having to jump even higher! She gave a brilliant feel never the less but undeserved rails. XC she literally zoomed, making it feel very easy and a great last run before Hartpury CCI* which she is going to LOVE!! Very exciting future for them both going by this outing!
The last day at Aston and the wettest one yet!! Foxy Lady V was doing her first intermediate and not the nicest conditions for her but she loved it. A 34 Dressage and 2 annoying poles but a perfect clear XC with so much more to come, making it feel like a novice!
Undalgo De Windsor had another Novice outing, a 32 dressage, another double clear for him and another prize! 7th place for him.Cruise On Inny taking on his 2nd Novice and not the nicest ground for him late on in the day and after a lot of rain. He did a nice test of 30, but didn't jump well on the wet surface so decided to withdraw and save him for another day, as he has such a bright future!
Lastly although the lovely Hamilton is not with Ginny at the minute, he is being ridden beautifully by Daniele Bizzarro. He upgraded at Aston too, and looked fantastic. A rather cheeky dressage but the best ive seen him show jump and then ate up the XC like it was a BE100. Could not have been happier for them both! He too now an intermediate horse! Thank You Dani !!
