The Team

Ginny's superb team have been integral to her success and have helped her to where she is now. Find out more about who they are and what they do in Ginny Howe Eventing.

Ginny also has a dedicated team of professionals who ensure the horses are fit and healthy to take on the demands of eventing.

Vets

Bourton Vale Equine Vets - have been our vets for many many years, with the choice of a number of top vets for call outs. They help to keep the horses in tip top working order.
VT Vets - the combined expertise of VT Vets and BVEC ensure the horses have the best veterinary attention.

Farrier

Tom Phillips has been our farrier for over 6 years now, and originally trained as an apprentice with our previous farrier. He keeps all of the horse hooves in the best condition and always ensures perfect foot balance and shoe preference for the work that the horses are doing.

Veterinary Physiotherapist

Annabel Galt keeps the horses free from any tightness and strains in their backs. She comes to our yard on a regular basis to give each horse an MOT so they can remain at full fitness throughout the event season. I have been working with Annabel for a number of years now, I can always feel a huge improvement after each horses treatment, and combined with exercises she gives for them, keeps them feeling at their best.

Saddler

Ginny is kindly sponsored by Voltaire Design UK. Made in France with the finest french leather, Voltaire Design's mission is to enable every rider to fully express their own potential. With the comfort and performance of the horse and rider as our main concern, we have made 'innovation' our motto in order to offer better products to help riders achieve their full potential.

Liz and Rodney Howe (Mum & Dad)

The support that Mum and Dad have given to me over the years is immense. I am very lucky to be able to base myself and the horses at my family home.

Mum has driven me from one end of the country to the other for competitions, but now she is still a huge support and big part of the team ensuring everything is kept in order at home as well as supporting at events and event preparations.

Grooms

Claude Weller

Claude competes herself with an experienced ex 5* eventer. Claude helps with morning duties, exercising and riding. Claude is a fun, passionate and dedicated member of the team.

Weekend Cover- Lauren Robson

Lauren has been a fantastic member of the team covering almost every weekend throughout the season whilst I've been away eventing. She has even been a driver on a few occasions when I have had lots of horses competing in one day. Lauren also helps me with my homebred youngsters in the breaking-in process, not something I usually have time for in the season but over the winter months its been great to have her knowledge to start the babies ridden life.

Jilly Foster

After owning her own horses and competing on other people's horses Jilly was fortunate to meet Liz, Ginny and the rest of the family almost nine years ago. Working long hours in her role in IT/Banking and travelling around the world with her job, Jilly's sanctuary will always be Four Winds Farm.

Whatever the weather the yard is always a place of fun, a lot of laughter with no day ever being the same. Jilly considers herself to be very fortunate to have the opportunity to ride such wonderful well-schooled horses whatever their age and sphere from a loving family home.

Sue Corbett

Although Sue does not work for us anymore she will often come in and lend a helping hand in busy competition periods. She is known as 'the tack cleaning fairy'!

Ginny also has a dedicated team of professionals who ensure the horses are fit and healthy to take on the demands of eventing.
