A day in the sunshine at Dauntsey

9th- Echo P (NOV)

12th- Trendy Captain Clover (IN)

Echo P completed his 6th Novice in style gaining his CCI* qualification. A super smart 24.8 dressage, an unlucky pole where he was loving the coloured jumps a little too much!!  But followed by a perfect clear XC making it all feel very easy and very much set for his CCI* debut at Hartpury.

Trendy Captain Clover, made nothing of the step up to IN, with a great test for being new at that level a score of 32. Then a pretty perfect double clear to finish 12th in his section.

Aston Le Walls

WINNER - Cruise On Inny(NOV)

A weekend of education for a couple of the horses.
ABOUT TIME TOO was brilliant in his first advanced 8/9yo. He did a great test with still so much more to give. He then jumped a brilliant clear in a troublesome SJ arena and course that saw few clears. He was lying very well in the section and was flying XC, taking everything on and being accurate too, but sadly we were caught out just 2 from home. Bounce steps up to a skinny on top. Pretty gutting as it was somewhat my fault but we cleared it on second attempt and came away having learnt something ahead of his Blenheim debut.

GREENLOUGH DAVE made his second intermediate an easy one, again so happy to be out at a party but contained his excitement in the dressage for an ever improving mark. He show jumped so well and had a very unlucky pole but once again the course causing plenty of problems. Harry then went on to fly XC and gave me a fantastic ride, adding just a couple of time to finish 13th in his section.

UNDALGO DE WINDSOR had a gret prep run ahead of Hartpury CCI**. He did a nice test of 30.2 with still so much more to improve on, he then had an uncharacteristic  3 poles, which was a shame but he certainly jumps better on the grass. He then flew XC and was very accurate and has set us up in good stead for Hartpury.

CRUISE ON INNY was a WINNER! So well deserved, hes been knocking at the door for his novice win for some time now. He went on to do it in style, a 29 dressage leading from the start followed by a double clear inside the time to win the section! Very much on good form heading to his first CCI*!!
