British Champions Day

Ascot Racecourse

Recently, Ginny has been getting back to Creeslough’s roots by teaming up with Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) and the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) at Ascot Racecourse’s British Champion’s Day. Ginny was asked to take part in a demo for the BEF’s legacy brand, Hoof Ride, alongside Olympic silver medallist Tina Cook and fellow RoR eventer Steve Way to showcase how ex-racehorses are retrained as eventers.

The sell-out day saw 32,000 visitors pass through the gates with race goers keen to watch Frankel as he triumphed to victory in his last race before retirement. Visitors were able to view some of the Greenwich Park cross country and showjumping fences which were on display during the day next to the demo arena.
